Baby Boy #3

I'm am 27 weeks starting Monday.

I have not talked much about this pregnancy or posted pictures so I wanted to share. The baby will be here before I know it. I'm so ready for bed rest. I'm so tired all the time and my feet or sore by the end of the day. I feel bigger than ever or a least my face looks bigger.

This little guy is running small about 24 weeks instead of 27 weeks he is kicking now like crazy and hard . I think he can hear his big brothers fighting all the time and knows he has to come out fighting.

Christmas Morning!

Everyone was so excited for Christmas morning to see what Santa would bring!

Santa left Joshua and Luke some little computers and Captain America shields.

Of course the shields shoot flying discs too, so heads up!!

These stockings are full of cool things, like the "Biggest pen EVER!" according to JJ.

Santa also left a huge cardboard Space Shuttle in the living room! The boys promptly put all their toys inside it so they could have fun while exploring/destroying the galaxy.

Merry Christmas!

We took the boys to the old train depot over off of Kathrine by the rock park.

They are open on the weekends only. At Christmas time Santa comes to the depot to say Hi and gives you a candy cane.

Joshua was very excited to say Hi to Santa and tell

him he wants a Transformer for Christmas.

Luke on the other hand WAS NOT interested in Santa and kept his distances. He did get close enough for his candy cane and one picture ,but wasn't happy being that close to Santa.

The boys were very excited to get started.

Luke ran to get the spoons since he remembered cleaning out the pumpkins last year (we were shocked he remembered, he was only 1 1/2 last year).

First Day of Preschool again!!

Today was my happy day the first day of school. I've been waiting all summer for this day to come. I learned my lesson this summer by not planning ahead for the summer. Next summer Joshua will be in some kind of school or camp he needed to be busy and Luke would like to be left alone without Joshy picking on him.

Joshua was so ready to go back to school he got up early and was happy! We got dressed and ready with no crying :). He was excited to wear his new back pack that he picked out. You can't tell in this first picture, but he's very happy

While Auntie Joycie was here we took her to Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium and had so much fun. We ate Lots of junk food, all the good baseball "must haves" like Dodger Dogs, Nachos, Cotton Candy and lots and lots of Peanuts. I would say she had the BEST time ever......

After the game we got to go down on the field to watch the fireworks show. JJ and Luke were having a blast running and doing summersaults on the outfield grass. It reminded Jeff of when he was that age running around the Astrodome in the Fathers and Sons games.

We went to the Ventura Habor also while Auntie Joyce was visiting us.

Not much sun though.

The day was overcast and cold but we were still able to take the kids out on the kayak.

JJ, Hannah and Luke had plenty of fun playing in the sand too.

Family vacation in Big Bear July 23-27

We got to take a "camping trip" (as the boys call it) to Big Bear staying at Aunt Vicki's cabin with Chris, Lisa and Hannah Zeman. Aunt Joyce from New Mexico also got to come along with us! The kids all had fun playing with all the dirt, sticks, pine cones, bugs and rocks. We also went fishing, on walks, exploring and raccoon and bear hunting!

Chris & Jeff got to see a Mama Bear with her 2 cubs Monday night, just 2 doors down. Mama Bear got to see Chris and Jeff run after she let us know she was not happy to see us shinning flashlights on her cubs! Once again my pictures are totally out of order. We had such a fun father's day. We made daddy a big breakfast and the boys gave Jeff there gifts. The boys picked out bird houses that they painted and wrapped and hid them in their room. They had so much fun celebrating the best dad in the whole world beside my own dad.

Last Friday night Joshua celebrated the end of preschool with a cute ceremony. In his class only 3 kids moved on to kindergarten. They were all so very cute and Joshua decided to be silly so he might look a little funny. They sang songs and said the pledge of allegiance.

Joshua was invited to a birthday party on Saturday and it was a Star Wars Theme. They had Dark Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda there to train the kids to be Jedi's it was so much fun . I don't think I've ever seen so many kids sitting in one spot with there eyes glued to one thing.

Taryn Graduated from Moorpark College!

On Friday the 13th Taryn completed her 2 years in the EATM (Exotic Animal Training and Management) program at Moorpark College and also earned her A.S. Degree. She has worked so hard in this very demanding and challenging program and excelled the entire time. We are so very proud of her. She trained a variety of amazing animals and then got to show some of them off to us in the morning during the "Family Circus."

We had a combined birthday party for Hannah and Luke and had so much fun. We ate lots of food and played lots of fun games . Lisa really went above an beyond for this party. I forgot to mention that it was themed veggie tales. We had pin the nose on bob the tomato, throw water balloons at Larry the cucumber, hot potato junior the asparagus and we limboed and played with the parachute.

Can You Say So Hot!!

This past week here has been Hot in the high 80's. Just too HOT for this time of year. Especially since a week ago it was snowing and freezing. If you don't know, we live up stairs and our house was smoking HOT and our A/C was acting funny so we were melting. On Friday cousin Hannah came over to play and it was just too HOT to handle anymore so we set up our kid pool and had lots of fun. I think everyone had fun even though the water was a little cold. You know me I took a lot, a lot of pictures so here they are. I got some good action shots too. Jeff also joined in the fun with his idea of swimming, I think he thought the water was deeper!

Hooray It's My Birthday!

I'm so mad that my pictures are out of order. I thought for sure I had the order right this time. oh well. My little micro preemie turned 4 today and we had so much fun. We bounced all day and opened presents and had cup cakes and ice cream. We had a good turn out today for Joshua's party and he had so much fun. I'm just putting a few pictures because I'm very tired and want to go to bed, but I couldn't go to bed before I posted about Joshua turning four today. Who would ever imagine with a 1.5 pound baby we would be here today celebrating. I'm so thankful to Heavenly Father for this beautiful health boy I have to celebrate with today.

We Love Pop Pop!

Grandma and Grandpa Brand came and did one of there famous drive bye. They drove in on Sunday night got here about 10p.m. then turned around and left Monday about 7p.m.. Who new you could have so much fun in such a short time. The boys had so much fun playing with Pop Pop. They shot him with there Nerf guns, they dug in the dirt and they rolled down the grass hill, they chased Pop pop and got a dollar for tagging him and then Pop Pop took them for a walk to get ice cream. Thanks Pop Pop!

I'm So Cool!

Luke woke up at 5:30 this morning why I have no idea. I tried to get him to lay back down with me which he did for a little bit ,but when he heard daddy getting ready for work the laying down was over. Luke was with Jeff while I tried to sleep some more. When Jeff was ready to leave this is what I walk into the living room to.

Green Eggs (no ham)!

Grandma Nan & Grandpa Tom gave JJ and Luke the book Green Eggs and Ham for Christmas and the boys have me reading it to them every night. They do so love Green Eggs and Ham, Thank you, thank you Grandma Nan! So this morning I decided to see if they really did like green eggs and they did! They would eat them in the house and they would eat them with a mouse, they will eat them here and there and they will eat them anywhere!

February so Far!!

We will start with my thumb that I cut with a rotary cutter blade on Feb. 2 at my typical time 4:30p.m. when the Dr's office is closed so our choices are slim by the time Jeff gets home to take me. We decided to try urgent care this time and still waited 45 mins before seeing a Dr. and we were the only ones there for 2o mins before other patient showed up. I ended up with 4 stitches in my thumb for a week.

On Feb.6th some time early that morning someone decided to shoot out my back driver side window with a BB gun. That was nice having Simi Valley's finest knocking at my door at 7:30 a.m. in the morning when we were all sleeping in... so much for a day of rest!

I just took this picture today and had to share!

I love it when it's my birthday so far Jeff gave me a funny card and Joshua has asked me if I'm getting Iron Man for my birthday.I had to tell him mommy didn't really want Iron Man for her birthday.

Mommy gets to go to her favorite restaurant for her birthday and can't wait Wood Ranch B.B.Q. I can already taste it.. Dinner with out kids the best birthday present ever..and an ice cream cake to make it perfect.

Joshua's Snow Day!

Jeff and Joshua headed out early today to play in the snow. Jeff wanted to try to get Joshua on skis this year so we took him to our local mountain Mt. Pinos and gave it a try before spending the money. Joshua really enjoyed sledding and not so much the skiing. Glad we paid nothing for the snow fun.

We joined up with the the Boy Scouts from our ward that had spent the night on the mountain and JJ helped them build the beginnings of an igloo.

JJ had fun throwing snowballs at cousins Gregg and Jillian who met us there too.

I tried to give you some video to watch but I don't know if it will work. Jeff took lots of video then pictures so I want to share how cute Joshua was .... He just had so much fun..

Well we start having a pull up contest if that's what you want to call it. This was so funny because everyone had to try it. We had from the oldest to the kids trying to do pull ups. I can't remember ,but I think Uncle Rich did the most pull ups..

We took the boys to the Los Angeles Temple to see the new visitor center and the lights it was very very fun ,but tiring at the same time. My boys have way to much energy .We were all over the place and trying everything they had you can touch .When we went out side they were off and running .

Joshua was so funny everything was exciting to him. He climbed on this rock and threw his arms up and yelled yeah I did it.

We had a big day of baking and decorating ! I always think this will be fun, maybe in about 3 years when the boys are older. We were suppose to go to Aunt Vicki's for the annual Gingerbread house decorating ,but the boys decided to get sick so we were on our own this year definitely not fun just us. We did get everything decorated and out before Christmas eve so that was awesome.

Once again the pictures are out of order. The boys had so much fun running around while we had our Christmas program. The boys had been locked up for about four days with all the rain we have been getting. So once again there cute factor came into play when they were running around being rude to the performers.

Joshua loves Santa. He cut to the front line and jumped on Santa lap and he told Santa what he wanted for Christmas and what Luke, mommy and daddy would like for Christmas we could not get him off Santa s lap.

Happy Birthday Uncle Chris!

Last night we went to Uncle Chris's and Aunt Lisa's House for Dinner to celebrate Uncle Chris's birthday that was last week. We had lots of fun ride the battery operated cars and bikes. Everyone had fun, even the birthday boy. Uncle Chris also had a pile of leaves to play in.

Santa Is Here!

Last Tuesday we went to the Child Development Center Christmas party and Santa Claus showed up. Joshua has been looking forward to seeing Santa . Joshua did really good when Santa came out he was excited to go tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. When it was our turn to sit on Santa's lap Joshua said Ho Ho merry Christmas and then said I want Buzz Light Year. Joshua was so cute and didn't want to get down. This is the first time Joshua has not been afraid of Santa. Luke wasn't a fan of Santa this year maybe next year.

Luke's New Bed!

Luke is graduated from crib to toddler bed. Not any toddler bed but a fire truck bed. We found it on Craig's List and Friday night we went to Moorpark and picked up our new fire truck. Well new to us.

Here are Joshua and Luke cleaning the Fire truck it was pretty funny watching them clean. They would wash the bed then wash themselves then wash the bed then themselves and of course it was a cold day here for us and a little rain to add to there already wet clothes.

Here we are assembling the fire truck bed.. Joshua and Luke were helping as much as possible. Joshua and Luke are really good at helping daddy with things especially when there's tools involved.
